One of your big fans, already, I want to help you get to 10X. You do dream big. AND I've seen you achieve and surpass many of your goals.

Add my to your Twitter list. It will force me to up my Twitter game.

I particularly like your use of, and explanations of analogies. The one that stood out for me is signaling your direction when looking for new work. It is a great way to communicate to a desperate job seeker how to help others willing to help them.

Thank you, Karena — and right back at you! I’m so thrilled for you with your latest appointment to the board. Very inspiring!!

You’re on my (Twitter) list! Look forward to engaging more over there and helping each other grow as writers.

Glad the analogy resonated. Signalling is so important, especially when you’re looking to merge into a new lane or get in the fast lane. Took me too long to realize that so I hope it accelerates other people’s practice.

You’re welcome, anytime. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I was really inspired by the book, “Show Your Work” so that helped me overcome some of my doubts. So far I have been consistent for three weeks. Also I have been reading a lot on “mindful productivity” to avoid burnout. I will keep you updated on my progress. Looking forward to your next post!

That's amazing, Ronald. The first 30 days are often the hardest so you're nearly through it.

Avoiding burnout is crucial too. Glad you're proritizing!

Thank you again for this great exchange.

I just wanted to say I think you are a very clear and engaging writer. I was especially struck by the words: “The people I admire most are those who tell me to think big. Then when I do, they tell me to think bigger.” The bag I want to open is to be more active on social media and to be more consistent in publishing articles, ideally once a week. I struggle in this area because I don’t want to think about business, but I know if I want to do what I love full-time I have to develop certain skills. Anyway, thanks for sharing. I was inspired.

Thank you, Ronald! I appreciate you. I've been working on improving my writing for over 18 months now, so your encouragement means a lot.

I'm glad those words inspired you as they inspire me. I actually just left a Zoom session where a friend told me to aim higher because he "knows my work and I can shoot even higher". Definitely important to surround ourselves with those gems of human beings.

Thanks for sharing details on the bag you want to open. I wonder, could you begin your weekly publishing cadence by writing about something different? I had a similar experience the first time I took Write of Passage. I wanted to write about my work but I felt compelled to write about other topics (profound travel experiences, etc.).

So I started with following my gut, and eventually I transitioned into writing about my work. Now I love it. Anyway, keep us posted! Would love to support you in "opening your bag".

Beautiful thoughts Alexandra. This is the first of your newsletters I've read, but it won't be the last. I especially loved the idea of dreaming big and then dreaming bigger. It's something I struggle to admit to myself at times.

I'd love to help out however I can, while I try and build my own engaged fans. The idea of having engaged conversations regularly really resonates with me. I'm hoping to up my own game continuing beyond WoP
