Another morning workout convert! I used to think those people were crazy, but it really is a great way to start your day. Have a great Christmas season!

This is very real! I started attending HIIT classes at 7:10 am on Tuesdays, and it’s now the easiest day for me to get out of bed—probably because my gym is just two blocks away.

Before this, I did yoga in the afternoons, but it required taking the subway during rush hour, which wasn’t pleasant.

Love that, Catalina! Yes, getting on a crowded subway can be a huge demotivator. Ease of access is everything! 😊 Enjoy!! 🦾

I am a 7:30am pilates girlie too! So encouraging to find that we considered the studios with the same factors. I picked one that's close to work and doesn't have too busy of a shower room because I have to be in the office by 9.

Happy holidays, Alexandra. We still need to connect! Sorry it's been a bit of a whirlwind on my end.

Thanks, Becky! We def have a lot in common between our shared loves of writing and pilates. 😊

Happy holidays and 100%! I just mentioned to another reader who's writing a book that I may start an accountability group in Jan if that's of interest. The idea would be to keep it light and do maybe one zoom call per month to define our goal for the next 30 days and get help overcoming any blocks we foresee.

Heck yeah, I'm in! Please don't stress about picking a time that works for me. Pick a time that works for you and I'll see if I can join :)

On the mornings when I successfully head to the boathouse for a dawn row, the night before I behave like a chef; specifically, mise en place. I put out all of the clothes and accoutrements so that there is nothing to keep me from heading out the door. When I fail to keep to my mise en place routine, I never seem to get on the water in the morning. And for me, the morning drive to the boathouse with news or classical music on the radio and a fresh coffee in the cupholder is a great motivator.
