Oh, I loved this issue, Alexandra. I fell down the George Harrison rabbit hole last summer for about 6 weeks. It was delightful. So, some things to check out:

* Scorsese’s 2011 2-part documentary on Harrison. It’s on Max, which we had at the time. The BEST.

* I, Me, Mine -- his autobiography, of sorts, with all his songs and lyrics, including short notes about the songs and remembrances. The story of him writing Here Comes the Sun one morning in his back yard at Friar Park, and then inviting Clapton to come record it with the Beatles later that day is a classic.

* There are several Spotify playlists that are superb. I think I must have listened to while My Guitar Gently Weeps at least several dozen times over those 6 weeks.

* Be sure to listen to the 50th anniversary edition (2011) of All Things Must Pass

* YouTube has some great clips, interviews, and tributes. Be sure to watch the Concert for George (2002) at the Royal Albert Hall. It was the master tribute concert after his death. Seeing his son Dani sing My Sweet Lord and Eric Clapton sing My Guitar Gently Weeps will make you do the same.

* I went to my local library and came home with at least a half dozen books. Graeme Thomson’s George Harrison:Behind the Locked Door is worthwhile reading, among others.

* Finally, be sure to explore The Traveling Wilbury’s and that later era of Harrison’s life. It was a time when he was truly happy making music with peers. The stories of him with Dylan, Jeff Lynne (cofounder of Electric Light Orchestra), Tom Petty (of the Heartbreakers), and Roy Orbinson are very fun. (For example, writing a song, and having the music part finished, then turning to Dylan and saying, OK we need some words now, go write some lyrics.) The videos on YT reveal how much fun they had making music together.

Oh, I envy you your rabbit hole. Have a great time. I sure did.

Wow, incredible list, Terri! Thank you so much. 🙏🏼

I started the documentary last night and it’s brilliant. I can already tell I’m going to have to rewatch it. :)

I’ve been listening to more of his songs as well and they’re beautiful.

And I’ve been to a Christmas show at the Royal Albert Hall and the acoustics are amazing. I’m looking forward to watching the recording of his tribute show there!

Thanks again. You’re the best! 🙌🏼
