As for books, I simply couldn’t live without them. I am on my own, but never lonely, because when I finish one book, I always have another to start. I often go out to dinner on my own and people say they don’t know how I can do that, and I tell them, I bring my book as my dinner companion. Would I be considered rude if I said books are sometimes better company?
That’s amazing, Mary Lou! I was better about taking a book to a restaurant or cafe the odd time abroad but I should do it more here in Montreal. You’re inspiring me to be bolder! Thank you 😊
