"I thought my launch would be the start of a new chapter but it’s the start of a new book." - What a thrilling way to describe this time in your life!

I am hugely excited for you Alexandra. I can see this going a long way. I wish you the very best for this journey!

I would love reading about what life is like AFTER the launch of the pilot cohort. Triumphs, struggles, challenges—everything. Will you be writing about this moving forward?

This is a perfectly timed post for me, as I'm poised on the edge of wanting to course-launch. I'm publicly declaring my reticence to sign up for yet another course, a course on courses no less! The money is entirely reasonable, it's that sense of already being overwhelmed with tasks, directions, obligations and then committing to another course of action. Literally! Any words of wisdom to offer?

Glad the timing lined up, Rick!

My advice would be to clear your mind and start with a blank page. Then list the core outcomes you hope to achieve in the next 6-12 months.

Decide how many are reasonable and then put the remaining ones on the back burner.

Then, map the tasks and obligations you’re referring to above to each outcome. Again, whichever ones don’t align with your desired outcomes for the next 6-12 months go on the back burner.

If it happens that the course aligns with one of your outcomes and you have the capacity to take it on, go for it. If not, put it on the back burner.

The goal with any course is to achieve an outcome faster and better. So that’s the lens I would evaluate through:

1. Does this course align with an outcome I’m *currently* work towards?

2. Do I believe this course will accelerate and amplify my progress toward it?

If the answer to both questions isn’t an emphatic yes, I wouldn’t take the course.

Hope that helps!
